Minocycline

1. Product introduction

Minocycline, also known as dimethylaminotetracycline or memantine, is a broad-spectrum antibacterial tetracycline antibiotic. It binds to tRNA to achieve a bacteriostatic effect. Minocycline has a broader antimicrobial spectrum with bacteriostatic activity than its counterparts. The antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of tetracycline, and it has a strong effect on Gram-positive bacteria, including tetracycline-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus aureus, and Neisseria gonorrhea among Gram-negative bacteria; the effect on Gram-negative bacilli is generally weaker; and it also has a better inhibitory effect on Chlamydia trachomatis and Mycoplasma urealyticum.
