1. Product introduction
PQQ is produced by Gram-negative bacteria and has a wide range of nutritional effects on microorganisms, plants and animals, as well as antioxidant nutrients.PQQ has a strong scavenging capacity for peroxides, which is reflected in the protection of mitochondria from oxidative damage, inhibition of lipid peroxidation, protection of cardiomyocytes from ischemia/reperfusion, protection of the oxidized NMDA receptor redox site, thus promoting the recovery of spinal cord injury, preventing cerebral ischemia/oxygenation, and preventing severe shock in animal models. PQQ also protects the heart against myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction, which is attributed to the antioxidant capacity of PQQ.
