Selamectin

1. Production introduction

Fermented from a genetically recombinant new strain of Streptomyces avium, Selamectin (also known as Cilamectin) is a topical and topical insecticide that primarily targets adult fleas, silk worms, and mange in pet dogs and cats. Selamectin is active against both internal (nematodes) and external (arthropods) parasites by interfering with the glutamate-controlled chloride ion channels of the worm causing rapid, lethal and non-spasmodic neuromuscular paralysis.

2. Technology parameter

  Synthesis from Doramectin.
