Rh-LACTOFERRIN
1. Product introduction
Lactoferrin belongs to the heme- and ferritin-bound transferrin spectrum, containing transferrin, whose main function is to transport iron ions within the blood, and has a powerful immunomodulatory function and an inhibitory effect on a variety of cancer cells.
Rh-lactoferrin is produced in the fungus species called Aspergillus niger var. awamari, and its structural features are almost identical to those of natural human lactoferrin, except for differences in glycosylation. Lactoferrin is part of the innate immune system. Because of its structure and ability to transport iron ions, lactoferrin, in addition to its biological functions, has antimicrobial, antipathogenic, antiparasitic, catalytic, anticarcinogenic, antiallergenic, and radioprotective effects and properties.
